It's hard to believe that we've come so far taking things one day at a time. Dan and I are gearing up mentally for the trip ahead of us. Kayla knows we're going to Russia, but in her mind, that could be Super Target or the house down the street. She has no concept that we will be spending approximately 24 hours being on a plane or in an airport.
I keep buying little things to keep her busy, but I know to expect the unexpected and she'll find lots of entertainment playing with the vomit bag or something like that. I got all emotional today thinking about how this one trip was going to change her life forever. Silly, I know.
